It seemed as if nothing could stop Kingsway starting pitcher Danny Meyer from achieving his goal. On a day when you needed your heavy coat, gloves and protection from the wind, nothing got in the way of him picking up his third victory. The lefthander struck out 10 batters in route to a 6-0 decision over Deptford in a Tri-County Conference Royal Division game.

Gotta enjoy the traditions and rivalry that goes on in South Jersey sports. Each team prepares themselves to participate in that game that has been marked on the calendar. In Mount Holly, the Rancocas Valley Red Devils hosted the Holy Cross Lancers in a Liberty Division softball game. After an exciting first inning, the Red Devils took a lead that they never lost to defeat Holy Cross 9-3.

Here on a beautiful, sunny spring afternoon, two long time rivals squared off in an Olympic Conference contest. Lenape (1-1) and Cherokee (0-2) have a rivalry that compares to such foes as Muhammad Ali vs. Smoking Joe Frazier, Captain Ahab vs. Moby Dick or the Phillies vs. the Mets. This day's game belonged to Lenape as they played to a 14-3 victory.

It's early in the season, but it looks like Cherry Hill East will once again be the dominant team in the South Jersey Boy's Volleyball League and may go all the way to an unprecedented 4th state title in a row! Coach Karl Moehlmann has a team at East that has the talent to remain competitive for years to come. East had little problems putting away the Sterling Silver Knights in two straight games (15-4, 15-4).

Have you ever heard the expression, "less is more"? When it comes to the Physio-ball, nothing could be truer. This ball can help develop a body that is tighter, leaner and stronger. It was first introduced by Swiss physical therapists in 1965, as a tool to help in the development of balance and increase reflex actions. Today the ball has hundreds of uses. It is a safe, inexpensive and effective tool in creating the body you want. Plus, it's also a lot of fun!

The sights and sounds of spring: birds singing, flowers blooming and the sky filled with cloudless sunshine. This is the time when a young woman's fancy turns to...Softball. At Cherokee field, the Chiefs (0-1) squared off against the Washington Township Minutemaids (1-1) on this beautiful spring afternoon. This entertaining contest featured two of South Jersey's softball powers and ended with the Minutemaids earning a 5-2 victory over Cherokee.
