South Jersey Soccer: Sunday, April 11, 1999
By Bill Richardson The Cinnaminson Clash improved their record to 4-0 on Sunday as they defeated the West Deptford Wizards 2-1. Cinnaminson remains in first place in the South American Division of U-12 Boys in the South Jersey Soccer League. Billy Richardson scored first for Cinnaminson, about 15 minutes into the 1st half, on a perfect pass from Brian Martino. Bill nicely tucked the ball into the left corner for the early lead. West Deptford put some pressure on Cinnaminson near the end of the first half and netted a goal, as the Clash were unable to clear the ball from the zone. Cinnaminson score again, about 10 minutes into the second half, as Billy Richardson scored his second goal of the game (4th of season) on a break down the right side, that he chipped over the goalies outstretched hands for the game winner. Josh Winter played a strong game in goal, making a number of point blank saves late in the second half!
