Athlete Spotlight: Ray Robinson, Jr.

September will be the start of a whole new chapter for Willingboro's Ray Robinson, Jr. He has earned a full scholarship to attend Illinois State University to play football. Ray is a senior at Willingboro High School where he plays various defensive positions on the football team. With his college education, his goal is to earn a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and maybe look into being a fitness trainer, but plans to focus on business.

This polite and confident young man takes time to tutor other students and participates regularly in local Blood Drives. Ray works part-time at Boston Market and at one time sang in his church and school choirs. If he gets the chance to watch TV, his favorite shows are "Fresh Prince" and "Martin". His likes to listen to the music of DMX and Boyz II Men.

While Mom is always there for him, Ray is looking forward to being on his own in September. One of the first things he going to buy for himself when he's done school? A Lexus GS300, black.
