South Jersey Running: 200 Turn Out for Seafood 5 Mile Run Saturday, September 21, 2002 By Mark Fletcher Partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the low 70's met about 200 runners for the start of the Seafood 5 Mile Run. This annual run takes place on the streets and boardwalk of Point Pleasant Beach and is held on the third Saturday of September every year. The Seafood 5 Mile Run takes place the same weekend as the Festival of the Sea Block Party in downtown Point Pleasant Beach. |

The hard work and determination he strides to achieve can be seen by all of his followers, supporters, friends and family. Kile Jr. If you have ever met Bill Kile III, you would know that his personality makes it easy to support him in his cause in raising money for the William H. Kile Jr. Humanitarian Scholarship Fund. The race has been designated as the 5K championship race on the Mid-Atlantic Association of USA Track & Field's (USATF) 2002 Grand Prix Circuit. The event will also serve as the women's qualifier for the USATF national 5K championships. |
