Eastern visited Lenape on Thursday in a regular season matchup. Both teams had already clinched playoff spots, but were looking to improve their records to help get a better seed in the playoffs. Both teams were also coming off of losses the day before, Eastern to Shawnee 21-11, and Lenape to Washington Township 12-6, so it was time to start a new win streak. In a game in which defense was an afterthought, the Lady Vikings would be the survivors with a 13-12 victory.

When the Lady Quaker's of Moorestown visited the Lady Renegades of Shawnee on Monday, the game had a playoff feel to it, with a lot of electricity in the air. Maybe it was because the last time the two teams met was in last year's state championship, when Shawnee came away with a 10-6 victory. Shawnee was also riding a 14 game unbeaten streak going back to last season. Many people felt that whoever won this game would most likely be the winner of this year's state championship.

The Collingswood Lady Panthers were riding high coming off of their big 16-10 upset win over Cherokee in their opener, followed by a 16-3 defeat of Maple Shade. So the Cougars were again thinking upset as they visited Moorestown on Tuesday. However, the Lady Quakers had other ideas, putting on a clinic in the first half by going up 11-2, then coming away with the 15-7 victory.

Ridgewood came two hours south to meet the only high school in South Jersey fielding a boy's lacrosse team and handled them easily. Ridgewood outshot Moorestown 31-13 and outscored them 8-5. Moorestown's keeper Joe Canuso did a credible job while Ridgewood's Kack didn't have much work.
