Team Conditioning Systems: Tuesday, December 16, 2003 By Gregory "Graig" White I was afforded the opportunity to attend and fellowship with some of the greatest minds in the performance enhancement game. The good people at Perform Better, an organization that puts athletes and coaches in a position to perform better, held a one-day seminar, "Learn by Doing" Functional Training Seminars and boy did we learn by doing. This seminar was educational, inspiring and most of all fun. I was sore for two whole days afterward. Having the chance to exchange ideas with coaches from many different places was a great way to spend a day and made all of the pain I went through worth it. |

Near the bottom in the standings and only dressing eleven players, Holy Cross gave Eastern all they could handle and had the Vikings hanging on at the end. Eastern led 2-0 after the first period on goals by Ball and Sean Sullivan. Holy Cross tied the game in the first four minutes of the second period as goals by Kirschner and Neal Krause erased the Eastern lead. However, Eastern was able to capitalize on the power play as Joey Johnston scored with assists to Brandon Tunstall and Anthony Orner. |
