South Jersey Basketball: Sunday, March 26, 2000

On Sunday at Overbrook High School in Pine Hill, a Basketball Tournament was held for girls and boys between the ages of 11-13. It was called the Tri-Town Basketball Tournament because it was made up of teams representing Berlin Township, Clementon Borough, and Pine Hill Borough.

South Jersey Golf: Saturday, March 25, 2000

Cross Keys Golf Center, which is located in Turnersville behind the Wal-Mart shopping center and directly across from the Regal Cinema, has hired a golf instructor from Korea. Seung Wook Kim, a regular contributor to the Korean version of Golf Magazine, as well as being selected by golf as one of the top 7 golf teachers in Korea, is now tutoring golf enthusiasts of all ages and handicaps. Known as "Kim" to all of his students, he began working with PGA Master Pro Joe Thiel back in the early 1990's and, over the course of time, has helped many professionals. While in Korea, Kim's facility was located in Won Joo City, and many LPGA professionals would attend his seminars, including Se Re Pak and Kim Mee Hyun, who have both gone on to successful careers.

High School Ice Hockey: Friday, March 24, 2000

The South Jersey High School Ice Hockey League will hold a round robin tournament beginning Tuesday, April 4th at 6:00 pm at the Flyers SkateZone in Pennsauken. The league has divided the teams by County - Burlington, Camden and Gloucester. Coach Fleming, from Shawnee, will coach Burlington County, Camden County will be led by Coach Pontonio from Eastern, and Coach Harrington of Washington Township will lead Gloucester County.
