South Jersey Runner's Club: Saturday, July 26, 2003 By Art Redd It may sound like the same old story when it comes to this year’s annual running of the Bill Kile’s Memorial Run held at Cooper River Park. When standing among the participants for the One Mile Fun Run/Walk and the 4 Mile Run, it’s hard not to notice a large gathering of friends and family greeting each other and catching up on the latest news in their lives. Once it was time to start the race, the main focus would be on the run and completing it before their personal best. Mark Ciafiani would cross the finish line first in the 4-mile while Angela Washington Bivans was the winner of the 1-mile run. |

High School Boys Track: Tuesday, April 8, 2003 By Jason Brown On a day when one would expect the weather to cooperate with the season, the outdoor track meet still would go on despite the overcast skies and cold temperatures. Bishop Eustace boy’s track team were playing host to Gloucester Township Tech and Camden Catholic. Continuing with the winning ways they are having so far this spring season, the Crusaders added two more victories to their success after this weekend’s Camden-Gloucester Relays. Bishop Eustace post wins against both Gloucester Township Tech and Camden Catholic. |
