By Jerry Amari The Vineland Patriots won the Under-13 girls division of the Vineland Memorial Day Tournament this past weekend. First they played the Deptford Magic. Samantha Hand had a couple of tricks of her own for the Magic as she scored twice for Vineland. Meghan Carlin and Cindy Tobolski also scored for the Pats. Vineland was tripped up by Atlantic United's Air Waves team. Hand registered the Patriots only tally. The girls bounced right back with a tough 1-0 victory over the MOT SC Monarchs from Delaware. Angelica Montero was the goalkeeper for the Patriots throughout the tourney. The defense was led by Lauren Breslin, Preeti Jain, Amy Smith, and Heather Connelly. The offense of the Patriots was Danielle MacDonald, Debbie Hartman, and Brittney Pescatore. Click Here for more articles and tournament information.
