The Berlin Township Blazers U-9 Travel Team, Head Coach Frank Adair. Sunday was our first game ever. Tristan is concentrating on placing the ball with Kevin and Makenna backing him up. Unfortunately we lost 4-1 but we our looking forward to a new exciting season. In other actions, the U-12 Boys won 3-0 and the U-8 had a great time playing.

The U-12 Berlin Township Wildcats traveled to Monroe for the first game of the season. After a disappointing Spring season, the Wildcats came out on fire. In the first half, Allison Williams started the scoring off of a great pass from Joann Bodanza. Minutes later Joann scored off of a great pass from Emily Dawson. Jade Pinto ended the half on a rebound shot off of the post by Kenya Stansbury. The Half ended 3-0.

The Berlin Twp. Blizzard took to the fields this weekend to begin their 15th season, collectively the Blizzard has played close to 200 games including tournament play, the team is still anchored by long time captains Ciarra Jones and Meaghan Williams. Coach Bob Jones and coach Debbie Vancurren were not sure what to expect from their squad this year, with almost the entire team playing high school soccer there has been little time to practice as a team. But once the girls took the field it was quite obvious that they had not forgotten how to play together!
