South Jersey Soccer: Berlin Township Soccer Update Saturday, September 9, 2006 By Gregg Williams SJSports Staff Writer SOUTH JERSEY GIRLS AND BOYS SOCCER TEAMS FROM BERLIN TOWNSHIP START SEASON The U-12 Berlin Township Wildcats traveled to Monroe for the first game of the season. After a disappointing Spring season, the Wildcats came out on fire. In the first half, Allison Williams started the scoring off of a great pass from Joann Bodanza. Minutes later Joann scored off of a great pass from Emily Dawson. Jade Pinto ended the half on a rebound shot off of the post by Kenya Stansbury. The Half ended 3-0. In the second half, Monroe took the ball down the field and scored to make it 3-1. After the kick off, Kassidy DiTolla took the ball down the pitch, went around two players and fired the ball into the back of the net to make it 4-1. Jade Pinto scored on a rebound off of an Emily Dawson shot. Newcomer to the team, Torunn Gunderson finished the scoring with her first goal ever. Photos by Boog Williams
