South Jersey Soccer: Saturday, November 7, 1998 By Bob Stewart The players of team Sundaes and friends ended their season with a game against the parents. The players and friends consisted of B. Garrison, T. Beaver, S. Lemm, M. Williams, M. Foster, R. Johnson, C. Johnson, S. Viereck, R. Lemm, A. Williams, D. Lemm, and M. Johnson. The Kids licked their parents just like they licked their ice cream after the game. |
South Jersey Soccer: Saturday, October 31, 1998 By Bob Stewart On Halloween morning, the Berlin Township Midget Soccer League (all 4 teams) played their coaches and parents. Linus was still looking for the Great Pumpkin, because Coach and League Co-ordinator Brian Law had it stashed on the soccer field. The game ball was painted bright orange, fresh for the morning's event. |

In the first game, Team Xerox played Team Sundaes (0-0) and Team American Express played Team NTI (0-1). R. Burns scored the only goal for the winners. |
South Jersey Soccer: Saturday, October 17, 1998 By Bob Stewart BTAA boys Coach Bill Conn had his players ready to play. His team started off the game very strong. Bill Conn, Jr. started the game off with a great turn around shot from 18 yards out. This gave the BTAA a 1-0 lead. Moments later, Nick DiGrosso scored to make it 2-0. BTAA had a goal taken away by an offside call by the ref. This let the TBAA back into the game. TBAA scored to make it 2-1 at the half. |
South Jersey Soccer: Saturday, October 17, 1998 By Gina Jarrell The BTAA Soccer Midgets took to the field on Saturday for their next to last game of the season. In the first game, Team Sundaes played Team NTI with Team Sundaes coming out on top with a score of 2-1. S. Vierick scored the 2 goals for Team Sundaes. M. Williams and T. Beaver played great defense in keeping the opponent to only one goal. R. Burns scored the one and only goal again for Team NTI. A. Romeo helped on defense and R. Seehean had some great move defensively. |
South Jersey Soccer: Saturday, October 10, 1998 By Gina Jarrell The BTAA Soccer Midgets played again this past Saturday October 10, 1998. In the first game, Team NTI played Team Xerox (1-0). R. Burns scored the one and only goal for this game for Team NTI. N. Snyder and J. Brecker did some fancy moves keeping Team Xerox from scoring and keeping Team NTI undefeated. For Team Xerox, J. Sabin and A. Scott played great offense challenging the goalie while S. Mills had some great defensive plays. Fun was had by all including the parents. |
South Jersey Soccer: Saturday, October 3, 1998 By Gina Jarrell The BTAA Soccer Midgets took control of the field this Saturday. In the first game, Team American Express played Team Sundaes. C. Jones scored again for Team American Express making them the only undefeated team! C. Rubin scored the other goal. Defensively, L. Phelps and M. Wozny both had great plays. Team Sundaes scored 1 goal by M. Foster with S. Lemm and B. Garrison providing great defense. The final score was Team American Express 2, Team Sundaes 1. |

In the first game, Team American Express played Team Xerox with the final score of 1-0. C. Jones scored the only goal for Team American Express with the assist coming from N. Smarra. The offense of Team Xerox - especially N. Pierce - played strong and challenged for most the game but could not get past the defense and great goal tending of C. Bright on Team American Express. Defensively, A. Lemm and A. Jarrell of Team Xerox played hard in trying to prevent another goal. |
| South Jersey Soccer: BTAA Midget Soccer Plays For Fun Saturday, September 19, 1998 By Gina Jarrell BTAA Midget Soccer's season opened this past Saturday with 2 fun filled, shin-kicking games taking place. The first game saw Team American Express play Team NTI followed by Team Xerox playing Team Sundaes. Highlights are as follows: Team American Express played a good game against Team NTI with the final score of Team American Express 2, Team NTI 1. C. Jones scored both goals for Team American Express. Also playing very well for Team American Express was W. Heppe. J. Bloom scored the goal for Team NTI with the assist coming from J. Brecker. It was an exciting game. |
