During the season, most of the time a team plays an opponent two times from their division usually on their home field. The first time the Eagles from West Deptford hosted the Green Wave from Audubon, it was a pitcher's duel and West Deptford would hold onto an early lead. Both of these teams were looking to get back on the winning track as they would lose their previous game during their opponent's last at bat. This time at Audubon, the Green Wave would score in every inning except one and were not too hospitable as their six run fifth inning put this game out of reach. Audubon's Nate Cowan and Bob Chiarulli would highlight this game with a homerun each and the Wave would cruise to a 14-3 win. |

It was another softball competition between two Colonial Conference teams looking to extend their current winning streak. The Lady Herd from Woodbury was in search of their third win in a row when they traveled to Audubon High School. On this day, the Green Wave from Audubon quickly took control of this game by scoring seven runs during the second inning. This game would end early as Audubon posted an 11-0 victory and extend their current winning streak to six games in a row. Lauren Beckas would pick up the win on the mound for Audubon. |

The Lady Eagles from West Deptford have been an on row starting out their new softball season. By winning their first three games, they have remained amongst the leaders of the Colonial Conference. Also representing the same competitive conference, Audubon dropped their season opener and was looking to win their second game in a row against another undefeated team. West Deptford's Michele Black has been successful keeping their opponents from generating runs and she would continue to do so today. Audubon would score only one run in this game but that was enough for Lauren Beckas to pitch seven scoreless innings for the Green Wave. Audubon's defense came up with some nice plays to preserve their 1-0 victory. |

The top two seeds had advanced to the finals of the South Jersey Group II girls' soccer tournament and both teams had their reasons why they should win. The Green Wave from Audubon was the number one seed hosting this game against a very determined Haddonfield soccer team. The second seeded Bulldogs made themselves right at home matching Audubon's intensity on every possession. Haddonfield would score the first goal of this game and that goal by Natalie Dickson proved to be the game winner. The Bulldogs' defense would shut out Audubon as they moved into the state semi-finals with their 4-0 win. Goalie Frances Nicoletti preserved the shutout for Haddonfield. |

It's an honor that teams should take full advantage of their accomplishments during the regular season. Representing the South Jersey Group II girls' soccer tournament were top seeded Green Wave from Audubon. With their number one label, Audubon would have the luxury of hosting every game as long as they keep winning. Today, Jordan Wright would help Audubon keep their quest to the finals alive. Her two first half goals scored against ninth seeded Point Pleasant Boro built a lead that they were able to maintain for both halves of this quarterfinals game. Audubon would advance by shutting out Point Pleasant by a 3-0 margin. The Green Wave will now host the fourth seeded Garnets from Haddon Heights. |

The success of a program clearly can be determine when you walk pass the trophy case of a school. Each year it seems as if there's no more run to put on display but someone will find a way to make room for another symbol representing a team's accomplishments. Haddonfield's girls' soccer team were completing against the Lady Green Wave at Audubon High School. It wasn’t an easy game, but two second half goals finally decided the outcome. The Lady Bulldawgs went up against a determine Audubon squad and picked up the win to claim their fourth straight Colonial Conference Liberty Division championship. |

It was a game that had to be earned. When Audubon's girls' soccer team took the field today, they knew they had to continue to play well in order to extend their unbeaten streak to fourteen straight games. Also at stake was another chance at claiming the Colonial Conference Patriot Division championship. Standing in their way of accomplishing those goals were the Lady Gators from Gateway who played an outstanding game of soccer against the Green Wave. These two teams were unable to score a goal during regulation and through the first overtime session. The game winning goal finally would be scored when a header by Ashley Cannon caught everyone by surprise and Audubon would begin to celebrate capturing their third straight title. |

The month of September has been good for the boys' soccer team from Aubudon. The Green Wave had not loss a single game and was on top of the Colonial Conference Patriot Division with eight wins and one tie. The Silver Knights from Sterling were trying to halt their two game losing streak and they were trying to do so at Audubon. The home team would get the game's first goal, but it would be Sterling who took control of this game during the second half. The Knights' Ed Harmon scored three goals to lead his team and pick up the win by a 5-1 margin. |

There's always that expectation that the seeding designated for a team should determine the outcome of a game. The higher seed, in this case Audubon hosting Sterling, is the favorite to come away with the victory. Well the sixth seeded Green Wave from Audubon didn't disappoint the predictions when they took on the Silver Knights from Sterling who was the eleventh seed in the South Jersey Group 2 bracket. Three key hits during the bottom of the second inning proved to be the difference in this game as Audubon advanced to the next round with their 4-1 victory. Next up for Audubon would be a trip to third seeded Woodstown. |

Baseball can be a very interesting game where sometimes the bounces on the field just don't go your way. When those times occur, the main focus is to just get the outs in order to get through an inning. On the other side of the players' bench, there's a different feeling that the players don't want it to end. In a Colonial Conference game played at Audubon, the high flying Eagles from West Deptford were the recipients of everything going right for them. Starting pitcher Justin Hilt drove in seven runs with his bat and West Deptford cruised to a 22-6 win over Audubon. |

There's always that one team others have to chase in the standings and when that opportunity arrives to compete against top team, try not to waste the opportunity. The Green Wave from Audubon had the honor of representing the Colonial Conference as the first place team but not far behind them were the undefeated Silver Knights from Sterling. The Knights would be looking to pick up their eleventh win in a row and were looking to win their second game of the regular season against Audubon. Sterling would make up an early deficit and defeat Audubon by a 4-2 margin. Steph Kroski picked up the win for the Knights limiting Audubon's scoring chances during the late innings. |

It all begins with the pitcher on the mound at least concentrating on getting the ball over the plate with some velocity for a strike. When that confidence begins to build up, the pitcher begins to add a bit more arm swing behind the pitch. Heather Morgan for the Green Wave from Audubon was able to strike out ten batters against Haddon Heights this afternoon. With Morgan's success on the mound, the offense would provide an early three run lead that the Lady Garnets were unable to overcome. The Wave would post a 7-2 victory in conference play. |

The Green Wave from Audubon got their season off on the right track when they hosted the Silver Knights from Sterling. Through seven innings, the Wave would pick up the 7-6 victory by rallying for three runs during the bottom of the sixth inning. This Colonial Conference game would be won by Tim Bolburian for Audubon. The next game up for the Wave would be another home game against the Gateway Gators. Sterling would look to pick up their first win of the season when they travel to Haddon Heights. |

When the seedings were announced for the state's basketball tournament, there's always one pairing that has all the implications of a match up that will turn out to being a very close game. Seedings can be deceiving as the home team, Cinnaminson seeded in the eighth position, took over this first round game against Audubon. With a double digit lead in the fourth quarter, the Green Wave would cut into that deficit. The Pirates would be able to withstand Audubon's efforts and regained control of this boys' South Jersey Group II basketball game. Dan Korenyi would lead the Pirates to the 69-53 victory. |

The Colonial Conference is still up for grabs meaning that every game is extremely important as the regular season winds down. Haddon Heights were amongst the leaders of the conference battling it out with Haddonfield, Sterling, Haddon Township and Collingswood all with a legitimate chance of finishing in first place. Every conference game was important and on this night, the Lady Garnets were playing host to the Green Wave from Audubon. The first quarter found Audubon keeping the game close after the first quarter ended, but the middle two quarters proved to be the difference. Haddon Heights would outscore their opponent 26-9 during those quarters and pull away for the 43-29 victory. |

It has been a while, but it must have been worth the wait for the boy’s soccer team from Audubon. In first round South Jersey Group II tournament, the eighth seeded Green Wave were hosting the ninth seeded Wolverines from Woodstown. The Wolverines had qualified last year for a run at the sectional title, but Audubon were left out at that chance. This year was a different story as Audubon would completely dominate this game from start to finish. Goalie Andrew Rupertus would preserve the 3-0 victory for Audubon. |

It’s the start of a new season for those who qualified for the sectional group tournament. The life of living through a bracket which determines your seeding and who you will compete against is somewhat first on your mind. Well an interesting match-up between the eighth and ninth seeded teams always provides a competitive event especially during the playoffs. Haddon Heights would be the traveling team looking to advance to the next round against Audubon. The Lady Garnets would be that team moving on as they defeated Audubon by a 2-0 score. Haddon Heights will now travel to Haddonfield who are the number one seeded team in the South Jersey Group II tournament. |

It's a thought that enters most players mind over and over again. There are those with visions of receiving a pass from your teammate and being able to kick the winning goal for your team. In a Colonial Conference game held at Collingswood High School, Audubon has been finding different ways of winning this season. In a very close competition for two halves, the Lady Green Wave found another way to extend their winning streak to three games by defeating the Panthers by a 1-0 margin. |
