College Golf: Monday, April 25, 2005 By Mike Ballard The Rutgers University-Camden golf team shot a 336 and finished second out of three teams, clinching a winning season in its final match of the spring at the Richard Stockton College Tri-Match April 22. The match was held at Blue Heron Pines East in Cologne. Rutgers-Camden finished its season with a 39-38-1 record, wrapping up its third consecutive winning semester. Swarthmore College won the match with a 329 score, while Richard Stockton College finished third at 339. Stockton’s John Murphy was the individual medalist, shooting a 76. |
College Golf: Monday, April 18, 2005 By Mike Ballard The Scarlet Raptors competed in two invitationals in two days, including their own Rutgers University-Camden Scarlet Raptors Invitational at the Town & Country Golf Links in Woodstown April 15. The Swarthmore College golf team shot a 332, led by senior Matt Draper, as it captured the championship at the Rutgers University-Camden Scarlet Raptors Invitational. Rutgers-Camden (341) finished second out of 10 teams, one stroke ahead of Wilmington College. Cabrini College (344) and Richard Stockton College (351) rounded out the top five. |
