South Jersey Ice Hockey: Boardwalk Bullies Sign Center Spadafora Former Everblades and Titans Player Adds Playoff Experience Wednesday, August 28, 2002 By Mary Rose Faustman The Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies of the East Coast Hockey League signed free agent center Paul Spadafora, it was announced today by Bullies Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Mike Haviland. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Last season, the 23-year old from Hamilton, Ontario, played 52 games with the Florida Everblades, recording 27 points on nine goals and 18 assists. In six playoff games with the 'Blades, Spadafora contributed five points on two goals and three assists and racked up 26 penalty minutes. |

South Jersey Soccer: TBAA Soccer Tournament 2002 Monday, August 26, 2002 SJSports TBAA Special Correspondent A total of 106 soccer teams converged on 14 Valley Brook & Glen Landing Soccer fields the weekend of August 23rd, 24th and 25th to participate in the Timberbirch Broadmoor Athletic Association (TBAA) tournament. Everyone was a winner. Players had nothing but soccer, soccer and more soccer everywhere you looked. Parents and family were all cheering there favorite teams on. When the kids were done there games, they treated themselves by grabbing freeze pops to cool off. |
