That's why when I heard that a United States Gold Medalist was coming to Winslow Township. I knew you just had to know!!! Dennis Mitchell (Edgewood-Winslow Graduate), a 3 time U.S. Olympian and the N.J. record Holder in the 100m, 200m, and the 400m since 1984, will be in town June 12-16, 2004. You can spend time with him at a Golf Tournament to be held at the Freeway Golf Course in Sicklerville N.J. on June 12, 2004. The cost is just $85.00 per person in a (4) foursome. The $85.00 includes a continental breakfast, lunch, gift bag, 50/50, longest drive and closest to the pin. Players must sign up in advance!!!!! Space in limited! Dennis trains many Olympic athletes and offers his assistance to many of our future area Olympians. The committee has created an AD Book so that we may continue to assist in uniforms, travel and other club expenses to these athletes who wish to continue their quest for the Gold.
