Waterford Defeats Haddon Heights 15 - 4

A SJGSA Girls 13-15 Junior Patriot Division game was played on a cold windy night at Haddon Heights. Waterford Twp. played their best softball game this year, beating Haddon Heights 15 to 4 in just 5 innings.

Nicole Cicchino, Ashley Rodenheiser, Lindshy Unghire, Abigail Taraskus, Kaitlyn Schafer, and Jayme Chiumento all played great in the outfield making the plays and backing each other up. The infielders, played by Sarah Duckett, Michele Nelson, Lindshy Hickman, Jenn Malady, And Angela Dipompo all played an outstanding game. Sarah Longino (5-0) pitched another great game allowing only 5 hits and striking out 11. The offense was outstanding, scoring in all 5 innings.

Great game Waterford, now 7-0 with Clementon coming up on Monday (5/17) at 6:15 pm, home at Ritter Field in Waterford Twp.
