Berlin Boro Wins Rain Make-Up

First rain, then the Memorial Day holiday prevented the Berlin Township #2 and the Berlin Boro girls from playing until Tuesday, June 8th. The heat and humidity were very high, so the girls were dressed in shorts, and had lots of water on hand.

Berlin Township led off the first inning with a 5 run series. The shorts seemed to be the answer to the heat, but their lead soon wilted. Berlin Boro's girls steadily chipped away at the lead to win the game 9 - 6. Berlin Boro only let them score one more run in the rest of the game, in the last inning.
