South Jersey Softball:
Tough Week For Berlin Twp. #2 In Rookie Softball

On Tuesday, May 11th, the grudge game was played as Berlin Township Team #2 took on Berlin Township Team #1. In the first meeting Team #2 won by one run, but this game was not even close. Team #1, led by J. Bloom and A. Jarrell, hit the ball all over the field. They scored a lot of runs and did not look back. For Team #2, S. Immendorf, M. Foster and M. Williams played well.

On Saturday, May 15th at 8:30 am, Berlin Township #2 traveled to Clementon to play the Wild Things. For the first couple of innings, neither team could score. Then, in the fourth, the Wild Things scored 5 runs. The game ended with the Wild Things 6 and Berlin Township 4. Both teams made some outstanding plays on the field and at bat.

All three teams would like to thank the Umps for all their help in the games and a very big thanks to the Coaches of all of the teams.
