For the past 22 year, soccer players from the South Jersey area had a great time at the Star Soccer Academy Soccer Camp during the first week of August at the Camden County Vocational School in Sicklerville, NJ and the last week of July at the Richard Teitelman School in Cape May, NJ.

Players from Berlin Boro, Berlin Twp, TBAA, Highland, Winslow, West Deptford, Winslow, and many other clubs learned to have fun while playing soccer in the very hot sun. Everyday the campers had skill learning, but also had fun with the likes of wacky Wednesday, stupid human tricks, bubble gum blowing contest, soccer gum millionaire, team day, and parent’s night.

The players learned the basics of passing, dribbling, shooting, but also learned the thinking part of the game. How to use your players in 3 v 2, fast feet, and other games like 21. The campers were always moving, learning, and having fun and didn’t let the heat get to them. They also had some help from the parents with water being sprayed on them during break and plenty of water to drink.

Each day the coaches selected 2 campers of the day. The campers got an award and a photo taken with their coach. The last day the skill awards, 3v3 champions, World Cup Champions, 2 Sportsmanship, and 2 MVP campers for the week.

Some of the Coaches from the camp will be playing on September 1, 2005 at 7 pm at Rutgers-Camden. Directions to the field are as follow:
