Winter and Richardson Combine To Defeat Raptors

The Cinnaminson Clash continued their winning ways this weekend in SJSL U-12 South American Conference action. Playing for the first time all season not in the rain, the Clash hosted the Upper Township Raptors at Cinnaminson Memorial Park.

Cinnaminson scored early in the first half, as Shawn Coller sent a thru pass towards the goal. Billy Richardson beat the goalie to the ball, nicely lifting the ball over the sprawling goalkeeper into the net for a 1-0 lead!

Brian Martino, Sean Milligan, and Brian DeLuca each took hard shots that the Upper Township goalie made big saves to keep the score at only 1-0.

About 10 minutes into the second half, Brian DeLuca made a perfect leading pass to Billy Richardson, who scored his 6th of the season, to the left of the diving goalie to make the score 2-0.

Josh Winter earned the shutout, making 14 stops enroute to a 2-0 victory for the Clash.
