The Philadelphia Charge has invited Tracey Spinelli, Kelli Toland and Heather Allgyer to try out for the team during the Hall of Fame Game weekend. The trio of players all hail from the Philadelphia region and will travel with the club to Oneonta, NY this weekend when the Charge take on the Boston Breakers in the Hall of Fame Game on Monday, October 17 at 2 p.m. "The Delaware Valley has produced some quality soccer players," Charge head coach Mark Krikorian said. "We will take this opportunity to evaluate some of the local talent and see if they have what it takes to play in the WUSA."

The region has already produced some WUSA players. Emily Oleksiuk, an Archbishop Wood High School graduate and Willow Grove native, is the backup goalkeeper for the Carolina Courage, while Jamie Pagliarulo from Hershey is the starting keeper for the San Diego Spirit. Both Oleksiuk and Pagliarulo have played with the U.S. Women's National Team. This past season, Marlton, NJ native Janel Schillig was a reserve goalkeeper for the Charge. Schillig also attended Villanova University, where she was a four-year starter for the Wildcats.

Spinelli is currently a graduate assistant coach for the women's team at La Salle, having also played collegiately at the university. She is originally from Langhorne, PA and attended Archbishop Wood High School. During her senior season at La Salle, Spinelli was named Third-Team All Mid-Atlantic Region.

Toland is from Philadelphia and played her college soccer at Penn. She was a 1997 and 1999 First Team All-Ivy League selection and a 1999 Regional All-American. She attended high school at Nazareth Academy, where she is currently coaching, and is playing club soccer for the United German Hungarian Club. Allgyer attended the West Chester University. She calls Gordonville, PA home and attended Lancaster Mennonite High School. She is currently working at Tri-States Soccer Complex in Aston, PA.

The Charge travels to Oneonta on Saturday for the start of the Hall of Fame Weekend. The team will help conduct clinics on Sunday before taking part in the induction ceremonies on Monday morning and playing in the game at 2 p.m. (ET). The Hall of Fame Game will be the first time that Boston head coach Pia Sundhage will face her former club. Sundhage was an assistant for the Charge the first two seasons before taking over the head coaching position in Boston after the 2002 when Jay Hoffman was fired.

Call the Charge ticket office at 215-467-GOAL for information on 2003 season and group tickets, including the new Field of Dreams package.
