What a great day for the 2nd annual Bill Kile Memorial Run. The run was held at Cooper River Park in Pennsauken on Sat. July 25. The combination 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk and TAC-certified 4-Mile Run supports The William H. Kile Jr. Humanitarian Scholarship Fund.

Some of Mr. K's old and young friends came out to give their support. Some long time friends included Mr. C and wife Pat (Berlin Twp. Schools), and Mrs. Rita Bivans (Washington Twp. Schools).

The one mile fun run was won by eleven-year-old Brittany McLeod of Glendora (7:24). Other folks took a little longer:

The 4 mile race had a great beginning and ended with Bill Kile III congratulating the runners and Jane Hoopes putting the standings on the Board.

This is what Mr. Kile would have loved to see. People of all ages having fun and those who could not quite finish the run getting some help from Dad.
The money that was raised this day goes to students to help with furthering their education (again, just What Mr. K would have liked).
We hope everybody had a great time; please tell a friend to look for next year's race.
