The National Lacrosse League announced today that Wings forwards Jake Bergey and Dan Marohl along with defenseman Glenn Clark were chosen as reserves for the 2006 East Division All-Star Team. They will join Wings captain Thomas Hajek, who was chosen yesterday as part of the starting lineup, and Head Coach Lindsay Sanderson, who will be the Assistant Coach for the East Division Team. The 2006 NLL All-Star Game will be played at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario on Saturday, February 25th at 4 p.m. and will air locally on Comcast SportsNet at 11:00 p.m.

"It's always a great honor to be recognized by the fans and General Managers from around the league," said Bergey, a fourth-year All-Star. "I'm proud that we have such strong representation of the Wings on this year's All-Star Team."

Bergey serves as the Wings alternate team captain and is third overall in team scoring with 22 points (10G, 12A). The ninth-year forward is the Wings third overall All-Time Leading Scorer (415 points) and the team's fourth overall All-Time Leading Goal Scorer (185). Bergey has been a member of two Wings World Championship teams (2001, 1998). He was selected by the Wings in the fifth round of the 1998 NLL Entry Draft.

Marohl leads the Wings in scoring this season with 28 points (7G, 21A). This is the sixth-year forwards' first All-Star Game. He was signed by the Wings as a free agent on February 6, 2003.

Clark is a nine-year NLL veteran including eight seasons for the Toronto Rock where he was a member of five championship teams (2005, '03, '02, '00, 1999). The 6'2", 205-pound defenseman was signed by the Wings as a free agent on August 3, 2005.
