Being an official in sports is a thankless job, where you are constantly second-guessed, booed and accused of missing your last eye exam. For the second straight year the referees in the SJHSIHL are volunteering there time to play an exhibition game against the Wings of Steel, the local South Jersey Sled Hockey team. Timber Creek is once again sponsoring the event led by the tireless efforts of Gary Scott and this year being assisted by Wayne Gibb, the gatekeeper. This year the game is being played at Hollydell Ice Rink on Saturday February 18th at 4:30 PM. There will be a raffle at the game and all donations of cash or used equipment are welcome and needed. Please support this event, even if you cannot stay for the game, stop by and make a donation.
