Audino And Ramsay Lead Rutgers Over Rowan

Darren Audino and Travis Ramsay each scored three goals as Rutgers trounced Rowan 10-1 on Sunday at Hollydell. In just their second year, Rutgers has blossomed into one of the better teams and on this night their performance was totally dominant as they out shot Rowan sixty-one to fourteen. Rutgers top line of Audino, Dan Rosenberg and George Bailey created numerous opportunities and scored the first two goals of the game. After Audino scored in the opening minute, Bailey threaded a pass from the corner to Rosenberg and his quick shot gave Rutgers a 2-0 lead after three minutes.

Adam Lemma scored his first goal of the year right off a face-off and that quickly it was 3-0. Bailey made it 4-0 scoring in the final minute as Rutgers completed one of its best period, out shooting Rowan 25-2. Rowan had a chance on the power play in the first five minutes but Audino sped in and scored a short-handed goal and the lead grew to 5-0. Goals by Mike Wehner and Ramsay made it 7-0 after two. Audino and Ramsay with two closed out the scoring for Rutgers and Rowan's Jason Neumann scored in the games final minute to make it 10-1.
