Ice Hockey Spotlight: Philadelphia Marine Corps 2005 Toys for Tots Program Teams with Flyers Skate Zone Tuesday, November 22, 2005 By Jorge Palmieri Philadelphia Marine Corps will be collecting toys at the Flyers Skate Zone this holiday season to spread some cheer by participating as a drop off location for the 2005 Toys for Tots program. The program runs from Monday, November 21 through Sunday, December 11 at any of the four Flyers Skate Zone's located in Northeast Philadelphia, PA; Voorhees, NJ; Pennsauken, NJ; or Atlantic City, NJ. Community members are encouraged to bring unwrapped toys and place them in the drop boxes available inside the front lobby of each Flyers Skate Zone. All toys collected will be given to needy families in the Delaware Valley to help share holiday joy and happiness with those who are less fortunate. "Please join us to help Toys for Tots provide a more enjoyable holiday for those less fortunate." said Comcast-Spectacor Vice President of Rink Management and Development Pat Ferrill. "Flyers Skate Zone is proud to provide a location for members of the community to come together to help those in need."
