By Joe Klueg
Philadelphia Flyers Correspondent

Philadelphia Flyers forward Donald Brashear will be featured on ESPN's NHL Cool Shots' "Player Profile" segment on Wednesday, November 6, at 1:00 p.m. Fans will be able to get to know how different a person Brashear is off the ice, compared to the player who skates for the Flyers, included is a look at his three horses, Armani, Herbert and Layla, and his yellow Lamborghini Diablo. See how he beat the odds to become a force in the National Hockey League and find out how important family is to him.

Brashear admits that he didn't have the most talent, but it was the people who told him he wouldn't accomplish his dream of making the NHL that really drove him to get better. When he realized that he would have to be a physical player in order to make it, he took one step at a time in accomplishing his goals. Hockey has become a real focal point in his life and has helped him in many ways.
