High School Ice Hockey: Five South Jersey Teams Invited To Flyers Cup Friday, March 12, 2004 By Mike Costantino Recently five teams from the South Jersey High School Ice Hockey League received invitations to play along with other teams to compete for this year’s Flyers Cup Scholastic Championship. The annual tournament is comprised of teams from the Delaware Valley and is broken into three levels; AAA, AA and A. These teams become the focus of scholastic sports as they compete for "The Stanley Cup of High School Hockey." So, get out your calendar and make plans to support your favorite team. The 2004 Flyers Cup will feature 44 teams from seven leagues playing in three tiers (AAA, 12 teams, AA, 16 teams, and A, 16 teams). Tournament play culminates with "AAA" Championship at the Wachovia Spectrum on March 29, which will be broadcast on CN8 television at 7:00 p.m. The following list is the games and the rinks where they will be playing.
