Kevin Walsh netted a hat trick and Corey Jackmuff added two goals to lead West Deptford over Rancocas Valley 6-2 and win the JVB Championship in the SJHSIHL. Walsh started things off ninety seconds into the game as he jumped on a loose puck in the slot. After Jackmuff blasted a slap shot from inside the blue line to put West Deptford ahead 2-0. Rancocas needed to respond and had an opportunity in the waning moments of the period with the man advantage.
Jackmuff however stole the puck and scored a short-handed goal with just six seconds remaining to put West Deptford up 3-0. Early in the second period, Jackmuff created another turnover and his quick shot gave West Deptford a commanding 4-0 lead. Goals by Kevin Lion and Robert Brown cut the lead to 4-2. Thomas Mason put West Deptford up 5-2 scoring a goal late in the period. Walsh completed his hat trick with a power play goal late in the third period and allowing West Deptford to coast to a 6-2 victory.
