Fred Brewer and Chris Keyser scored four goals each as Washington Township pounded Highland 16-2 in high school ice hockey at Hollydell. In yet another example of why there should be two tiers, Township after leading just 3-2 after the first period, exploded for seven goals in the second period. Mike Varano and Andrew Trapani scored the Highland goals both in the opening period. Marco Jordan added two goals and an assist and Christian Biscardi assisted on four goals. Win the win Township remained unbeaten for the season.
The only set-back Township suffered happened earlier in the week when junior forward Billy Choy transferred to St. Augustine. Choy was third in the league in scoring heading into this weeks schedule and will be sorely missed by Township.
