Fred Brewer, Chris Keyser and Nino Camaratta scored two goals each as Washington Township began its SJHSIHL season with a 9-1 victory over Holy Cross. Welcoming a new head coach, the Minutemen took no prisoners. They utilized their speed on all three lines and were missing one of their top players from last year in Drew Peterson who should be available for the next league game. Pete Laman, Josh Courant and Kyle Stokes also scored for Township. Gerner scored the lone goal for Holy Cross.
Next up for Township will be a meeting with last years champion, Eastern, which will take place on Friday October 10th at 7:15 at Hollydell.
