Washington Township remained undefeated in Tier 2 action as they overwhelmed Collingswood 11-0 on Friday night at Hollydell. Chris Keyser, Mike Duczkowski and Ryan Jagielski scored two goals each to pace the Township attack. Collingswood only dressed six skaters, not counting their goalie and all played their hearts out until the final whistle. Almost the entire first period was played in the Collingswood zone with goalie Sean Wydrzynski facing numerous shots from close range. Despite allowing six goals in the period, Sean made several strong saves as his team was out shot 20-1.
Also scoring for Township were Jason Pelle, Mike Siciliano, Nino Caammarato, William Murray and Dominic Fiandra. As difficult as it is coaching kids in a lopsided game as this, Coach Schauffele and Coach Pelle showed class as well as their players. Township would pull back in the third period and just rag the puck. I'm sure that the Collingswood six, Joe Pavlow, Laura White, Joe Lutz, Joe Fusco, Jonathan Williams and Jerry Mustaro, will sleep well tonight.
