Township balance too much for Lenape

Six different players scored two goals each as Washington Township defeated Lenape 15-0 on Friday night at Hollydell. Adam Zaccaria, Joe Pelle, Joe Gori, Eric Marano, Dan Fratantoro and Buddy Anderson all tallied twice as Township led after fourteen seconds were played and never looked back. Mike Mazzucca, Steve Brown and Nick Martorano also contributed goals and in a game as lopsided as this, I believe its time the league re-visited some issues concerning placing teams into competitive tiers.
Lenape has been out scored 27-2 in their first two game this season. Despite its rich tradition with the Borgos family involved from the beginning and never showing signs of quitting, it seems obvious that with their youth and lack of size for this season at least belong in Tier 2. Right now the league does move the two teams that finished the lowest in Tier 1 the previous season into Tier 2 and moves the two teams that finished atop of Tier 2 into Tier 1. Nice plans if there is balance throughout.
I don't presume to have all the answers, but I do have some questions:
- Is it time to have a Tier 2A division?
- Why not schedule more games amongst the top teams?
- When a team is as young and inexperienced as Lenape why not move them to Tier 2?
Maybe there should be an impartial committee who decides what team plays where. I always felt that kids playing in an organized sport would learn or take something from the experience, but what do you take from 27-2?
