By Gary Steiner Washington Township hosted the West Deptford Eagles in the Consolation Game of the Minuteman Tournament, and held on to win 7-5. Bo McKillop went 3-3 with 3 RBI's for Township, hitting a triple in the 5th to drive home Mike Getty for the winning run. Dom Buonnadonna added the insurance run by singling home McKillop. West Deptford tied the game in top of the 4th when Steve Quinto started off a 4 run rally with a solo home run, followed by a single from Jim McFetridge, then a double each from Ron Mancuso and Kurt Toppin. With the score tied 5-5, Coach Dzierzgowski made the relief call to pitcher Tony Fast at the top of the 5th. Fast gave up 5 hits, but with a little defensive help from his teammates held the Eagles scoreless over the last three innings of play for the 7-5 win. Photos by Boog Williams
