Soccer is that game, as all of us soccer fans know, where each member on the field plays an important role in the success of scoring a goal. No one player can do it alone and the entire team must work together according to the game plan and achieve the goal of putting the ball into the net. Both teams, the Lady Indians from Pennsauken traveling to Triton to take on the Mustangs, were unable to get past the defense during the first half. It wasn’t until the second half that Triton was able to score the first and only goal of this game. In their 1-0 victory on the road, goal keeper Amy Ferrara would preserve the shutout in goal for Triton.

Pennsauken was determined to get the game’s first goal but the Lady Mustangs were able to withstand their pressure. Each team had their scoring chances, but the defense for both teams would step it up and deny each offensive pressure. Finally, the Triton were able to get on the scoreboard when Jessica Brodgen found the net with her shot and the Mustangs was able to walk away with the one goal victory.
