When looking at the standings for the Olympic Conference Patriot Division, it's not that hard to assume that the team with the winning record should defeat the team with the losing record. On this day, Pennsauken would be looking to end a seven game losing streak while Triton was seeking their fourth victory in the division. The Lady Mustangs would keep the pressure on Pennsauken's goalie Elise Graham who came up with some big saves in this game. Both teams could only score a goal apiece and Triton and Pennsauken would end up in a one all tie.
Both teams had their scoring chances in this game leaving themselves hoping to get another chance to score. Triton’s goalie Amy Ferrara would watch her defense limit Pennsuaken’s scoring opportunities by controlling the play for most of this competition. But this game of soccer only one chance to put the ball into the net. Triton would get the game’s first goal of the game when Alex Peterson scored for the Mustangs. Pennsauken would respond with a game tying goal by Sara Hanson. That’s the way this game would end as a total of two goals would be scored.
