Chris Ramsay netted a hat trick and Bob Daily added two goals as they led a balanced Triton attack over Kingsway 11-4 in Tier 2 action at Hollydell on Friday night. Triton was in control from the opening period as they scored seven goals in the first period and never looked back. Ramsay opened the scoring, as Triton capitalized on the power play and led 1-0, just over two minutes into the game. Daily made it 2-0 just over two minutes later putting home a rebound of a Wade Ingraham shot. Then thirty seconds later, Ingraham scored right off the face-off as Ramsay won the draw cleanly and Ingraham blasted the puck into the net to make it 3-0.
Goals by Chris and Joe Bangs sandwiched between another by Ramsay and Daily made it 7-0 after one period. After Mike Wilson made it 8-0, Kingsways' Jeff Ramsden scored two goals in less than a minute to bring Kingsway to within 8-2, and seemed to get some life when Mike Curiale scored with eighteen seconds left in the second period to make it 8-3. But early in the third period, Anthony Buck scored on a breakaway to make it 9-3. Late goals by Wilson and Ramsay put the game out of reach.
