By Forrest Robleto The Big Guy, Dave Webb took the heavy weight division over John Ashton as Shawnee took top honors at the Pine Barrens Classic on Saturday. Doug Easlick took a minute four to pin his Egg Harbor opponent Alex Martinez to pass his older brother's win record at Cherokee. In the 189 pound division, Egg Harbor's Neil Anderson took Tom Martino of Egg Harbor by a 7-4 decision. Shawnee's Rich Conner got the win over Dino Bozzi 11-3 in the 171 pound division. Cherokee's Chris Briski took the 160 pound division in an 8-4 win over Clint Grant of Shawnee. St. Joseph's Tom Grant won the 152 pound division by forfeit as Shawnee's Ryan Mennan was unable to wrestle due to injury. In a very close 145 pound matchup Shawnee's Chad Grant edged Marc Dalessio of Cherokee 5-4. Bob Saia of St. Joseph shut out Wes Roach of Cherokee 4-0 at 140 pounds. Shawnee's Mike McAleenan took only 1:21 to pin his opponent Don Dineen in the 135 pound class. At 130 pounds, Shawnee's Josh Hare pinned Egg Harbor's John Anzardo. Jim Marcasciano of Egg Harbor won the 125 pound class over St. Joseph's Jay O'Donavan, while his brother Jason pinned Hightstown's Sean Parker in the 119 pound division. Egg Harbor's Chris Souder took the 112 pound class over Bob Columbo. And in the 103 pound division in a very close decision, Jim DiCicco of Shawnee slipped by Andrew Goldnar of St. Joseph's 10-9.
