Coach John Innocenzo feels that his team will have a 9-8 record by February 2nd and will maintain a .500 record for the season. The Eagles are coming off of a 10-14 season and hope to improve on it. The Eagles will have three returning starts: Guard Joe Mason (Sr.), Forward Brendan Eicholtz (Jr.), and Guard Jim Hayden (Jr.). Also returning that saw some action last year are Guards Bob Famular (Sr.) and Marc Decastro (Sr.).
Coach Innocenzo says, "His team's strong points are the great senior leadership and incredible work ethic". The team's weak point is our overall size. Our top defensive players are Joe Mason, who had a very good came defending (Dajuan) Wagner last year, and Brendan Eicholtz. At 6'4" Brendan Eicholtz along with 6'2" Bob Famular are our top rebounders. Eicholtz is also, our top leaper and shot blocker. Our top foul shooters are Joe Mason, Marc Decastro, and Jimmy Hayden. Mason and Decastro are our top 3-point shooters. Some of the newcomers that should help the team are Mike Cataline (Jr.), Vinnie Milano (So.), Joe Sutor (So.), Brian Wooten (So.), and Matt Murphy (So.).
Coach Innocenzo thinks that the team to beat is Camden Catholic. He also, believes that Wilson and Bishop Eustace will be in the chase. Assistant coaches, Jamie Decastro, Jimmy Gannon, Rob Atene, and Kevin Shell help Coach Innocenzo with the Eagles.
