Overbrook lost two games this week, one to Camden Catholic and the other to Bishop Eustace, but the Lady Rams never gave up.
In the Camden Catholic game, on Wednesday the 10th , the Lady Rams jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the first 10 minutes. But the Fighting Irish came back roaring. They scored 3 goals by the end of the half to lead 3-1. Just as in the beginning of the game, the Lady Rams scored very quickly to make the score 3-2. The Fighting Irish scored the next goal, taking the wind out of the Lady Rams. The game ended 4-2 with the Fighting Irish getting the win.
The second game of the week was against Bishop Eustace Lady Crusaders, one of the top teams in the South Jersey area. The Lady Rams had their chances to score but were stopped by the Lady Crusaders defense. On offense for the Lady Crusaders, Aimee Bresani opened the scoring as the freshman came off the beach and beat the defense on great passing by her teammates to give Bishop Eustace 1-0 lead. Christine Watson scored twice, as did Jenna Shenk and Patty Lynch as Bishop Eustace handed Overbrook a 5-1 loss.
