It has been an up and down season so for the boy's basketball team from Northern Burlington. The Greyhounds were trying to end a two game losing streak after beginning the season winning five out of six games. Today's game featured two teams with the capability of putting a ton of points on the scoreboard. Steinert, behind the shooting of Anthony DaBronzo outscored the talented duel of Joel Campbell and Joe Loftus. Northern Burlington lost 85-73 at home in this non league competition.
Northern Burlington and Steinert ended the first quarter tied, scoring their lowest point total for a quarter in this game. Steinert would pull away in the second and third quarters behind the three point shot. Northern Burlington could not overcome their 13-point deficit going in the final quarter. Anthony DaBronzo had a game high 35 points, Eugene Moore scored 20, Eric Elliot finished with 17 and Chester added 11 points for Steinert. Joel Campbell led the Greyhounds with 29 points, Joe Loftus dropped in 22 points and Nick Nelson had 11 points for Northern Burlington.
