The Lady Foxes from Moorestown Friends were enjoying their longest winning streak of the season at three games. It didn't look as if Moorestown Friends would extend their streak by one as they found themselves trailing after three quarters by six points. Ann Stouffer was successful in her efforts of reducing the Foxes deficits. Moorestown Friends would dominate the final quarter to pull out the come from behind victory at Maple Shade. The Foxes picked up the 44-39 victory over the Lady Wildcats in a non-league girl's basketball game.
The way this game started out, it appeared as if the final seconds would decide the outcome. Moorestown Friends led by the slimmest of margin at the end of one quarter only to see the Wildcats lead by one, 19-18 at halftime. Maple Shade began to enjoy their home court advantage by outscoring the Foxes 14-9 to take a 33-27 lead heading into the final quarter. That's when Stouffer began to raise her game and was able to beat the Wildcats defense inside. By outscoring their host 17-6, Moorestown Friends was able to extend their winning streak to four games. Stouffer finished with a game high 22 points while Katie Stutz added 17 points for Moorestown Friends. Kathie Martinovich led Maple Shade with 10 points.
