By Mike Costantino Adam Wiedman had four goals and an assist and Joe Pavlow added one goal and an assist to lead Collingswood over Kingsway 9-1 in a SJHSIHL game played Friday night at Hollydell. Collingswood wasted no time as they scored in the first seventeen seconds on their first shot as Pavlow set up Wiedman. About three minutes later Wiedman scored again with the assists going to Mahoney and Anthony Shapella. With Kingsway down a man, Muckel scored with Matt Kerth and Wiedman getting the helpers and it was 3-0. When Ed Dira and Eric Sooy scored in the last minutes of the period to make it 5-0. The second period Kingsway played much better defense and held Collingswood scoreless until midway through the period when Pavlow banged home his goal with Cairns assisting. Kingsway would avoid the shutout when Peter Stukas scored a power play goal early in the third period with Rob Gifford and Aaron Marple getting the helpers. Wiedman notched his hat trick with seven minutes to go and added his fourth with just under five minutes left to make it 8-1. Shapella closed out the scoring with fifteen seconds left, as Collingswood would start their weekend enjoying a 9-1 rout. Photos by Art Redd
