High School Ice Hockey: Neumann Scores Four In The Third To Beat Holy Cross Friday, November 3, 2000 By Mike Costantino St. John Neumann scored four goals in the third period to break open a close game and defeat Holy Cross 7-3 in a Tier 2 game played at Hollydell on Friday night. Eddie Marker led Neumann with two goals and three assists and Dom Fratangeli chipped in a goal and two assists. Neumann took a 1-0 lead on the power play as Marker broke down the left side and fed Ken Sarkioglu who deposited the puck into a wide open net. Midway through the period, Silvio Illisco made it 2-0 on a feed from Jim McKissick and Neumann seemed in control. But a late penalty gave Holy Cross a power play and they converted with DiNoia scoring in the last minute to make it 2-1. Photos by Joanne Costantino
