During their first meeting of the season, Paulsboro and Haddon Heights played a very close game with the Lady Garnets winning by two. A lot was learned from that game as these two teams met again, this time at Haddon Heights. With the game tie at one, the Garnets went right to work in the second half scoring four more goals and they never looked back. Alisa Farina found the cage three straight times, twice in the second half outscoring Paulsboro by a 5-1 margin.
Haddon Heights had the advantage for most of the first half with nothing to show on the scoreboard. Paulsboro did have their scoring opportunities against the leaders of the Colonial Conference Patriot Division. Farina scored the first goal of the game at the 6:40 mark. Almost two minutes later, it was Paulsboro’s Britani Walsh receiving an assist from Essence Worthy tying this game before the half. Farina this time hooked up with Sam Papa for the team’s second goal, and then the natural hat trick occurred at the 21:05. Beth Sandowich assisted the third goal. Sandowich and Papa completed the scoring for Heights.
