No matter how you look at it, winning games always create a nice atmosphere to play in. The confidence of knowing what it takes to put together a game plan by the coaching staff and executing it on the field can only help a team for the remainder of the season. Clayton has demonstrated that they have been working together enough to win their fourth game in a row. This time traveling to Gloucester City to take on the Lions, the Clashes posted a 3-1 victory on the road.
This was a battle between two girl's soccer teams in the Tri-County Conference Classic Division who were heading in two different directions. Gloucester was looking for their first win of the season and Clayton trying to keep their playoff hopes alive. In this game, the Clippers received a two goal performance from Sammi New and a Kristie Ferguson goal to score two more goals than their host. Jessica Ryan scored the lone goal for Gloucester.
