Manny Rayo stopped 23 shots and seven different players scored for Eastern as they rolled over Williamstown 9-1 in league action played at the Skate Zone in Voorhees. Dan Tavana and Anthony Orner led the Vikings with two goals each; Tom Ruiz scored the lone goal for Williamstown. Brandon Tunstill got Eastern off and running early, scoring in the first twenty-one seconds. After Ruiz tied the game at 1-1, Joey Johnston gave the Vikings the lead for good scoring on the power play late in the first period.
The second period Eastern scored two short-handed goals, one by Anthony DeFino and one by Christopher Ball to break open the game. Meanwhile Rayo made several saves from close in to keep Williamstown off the board. Goals by Chris Lieg, Tavana and two by Orner in the third period closed out the scoring. Next up is a battle with Clearview.
