High School Ice Hockey: Myers Blanks Rancocas As Eastern Makes Finals Friday, February 27, 2004 By Mike Costantino SJSports Staff Writer Danny Myers stopped all twenty-eight shots and Sean Sullivan had a goal and two assists as Eastern defeated Rancocas Valley 5-0 and advanced to the finals of the SJHSIHL tournament. Eastern will now wait until Thursday and play Rancocas Valley, Cherokee or Cherry Hill East. The story tonight was Myers as he stymied the Rancocas forwards from all angles and limited the amount of rebound shots. With Myers not allowing any goals, the line of Sullivan, Orner and Brandon Tunstall dominated when they were on the ice and the Vikings are poised to repeat as champions. Photos by Art Redd
