Eastern traveled to Highland in a game which both teams were searching for ways of getting a win. The Olympic Conference is loaded with teams that have established themselves as the team to beat. On this day, all that mattered was the team that they were playing. The Vikings scored early and came away with a 3-0 win.
This game had all the makings of both teams scoring a lot of goals. Maybe not because Eastern had plans of evening their record to 5-5-1. Brian Raveling (29:03), Chris Deporis (26:40) and John DiMarco (22:37) each scored to give the Vikings all the goals they needed. Dan Long had seven saves to preserve the shutout.
